Both specs work fine for daily shenanigans! I should note that I am using Poleaxe Specialisation on both examples due to the amazing crit bonus it gives. Recommended Arms spec for raiding and PVE: The difference between the two specs is that if you raid with another warrior, who will probably have improved Shouts, you can in turn benefit your raid by speccing into Improved Demoralizing Shout, as shown in spec 2, so you both won’t overlap. You can also do your daily questing in this spec no problem! Any more is wasting valuable Fury points the only difference between the specs is deciding if you prefer improved Commanding and Battle Shout or Demoralizing Shout. Recommended Fury spec for raiding and PVE: Go as far down in the Arms tree to Two Handed Specialisation. It never seems fair Fury has the easiest rotation to pick up and master, but is really gear dependant Arms on the other hand has an irregular DPS cycle, but is kinder in terms of gearing, so pick your own poison carefully! Arms DPS is a lot more RARGH BUTTON SMASH, and watching for procs and sussing priority of your cooldowns. I find Fury overall does better DPS in trash clearing thanks to shorter AOE cooldowns, but for single target DPS Arms actually has the edge, thanks to a build up of bleeds over time.
WHEN TO USE DUEL ARMS WARRIOR CRACK
You are extremely, extremely gear dependant hit is your crack in which you try to smuggle into all of your itemisation of just about everything you wear. I have had raiding experience in both trees, and find them both very different play styles. Fury has what I call the Wow! Factor in the sense you duel wield two freakin’ weapons other melee DPS can only use one of, and your rotation is actually very basic and easy.

I don’t recommend speccing Fury for PvP using Berserker Stance while being pounded on by the opposition makes you one squishy plate wearer. But who am I to judge if you want to level Fury? I levelled Protection pre-Wrath yeah, yeah I know- I would go back and level Arms if I had to do it again though, so I've learnt my lesson. It is a lot, lot kinder to the grind of killing things repetitively, there’s no damage penalty and quest rewards below 70 are pretty much geared and itemised for Arms and not Fury. Hopefully this guide will help a little, and point you in the right direction.įor levelling, no questions: Arms all the way. This guide is a very basic, bare bones version of warrior DPS for both specs, and not intended for Elitist Jerks level of data analysis and theorycrafting. Thanks to duel specialization, some of you die hard tanks might be wondering how you poke things in the back instead of the front, or maybe you just hit 80 and don’t know where to start.
